ANDALUSIAN CULINARY WORKSHOP

Join us for a unique culinary journey in the heart of Andalusia. During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the art of crafting three iconic Andalusian dishes: Tostadas con Queso y Carne de Membrillo, Salmorejo and Tortilla Española. Hosts Luis and Joanna, proud owners of La Casa con Libros, will guide you through the cooking process while sharing insights into Andalusian ways of life, architecture, and fascinating historical tidbits about food and cooking. After the cooking session, participants and hosts will gather to savor this simple and authentic Andalusian feast. The experience will be concluded with coffee and dessert served on one of the patios or in the bookshop, adding a touch of charm to your culinary journey.

Luis: A Spanish writer and the owner of La Casa con Libros. With a passion for literature, Luis brings a local touch to the workshop.

Joanna: Originally from Poland, Joanna with a profound interest in the history of food and culture. Her diverse background adds a unique international flair to the experience.

La Casa Con Libros (The House With Books) is a carefully renovated Andalusian house situated in La Zubia town by a Moorish-style church and town council – a privileged location. The house acommodates a bookshop and a kitchen, but it is a living museum that showcases old Spanish cooking utensils and antique pieces, creating an authentic backdrop for your culinary journey.
